A little treat for your Tuesday...I’m going to stick with the hydrating theme this week and give you a little homemade mask!
Moisture to the rescue!
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
Mix together until it becomes a paste. Apply to clean face and neck and leave on for 20 minutes and relax!
Now here is why this is SO good for your skin! Avocados are full of vitamins (such as C, A, and E) and antioxidants which help protect your skin from damage. They are also full of healthy fats that help keep your skin hydrated and give it a glow! Plain yogurt contains lactic acid, an all natural alpha hydroxy acid that helps to dissolve dead skin cells and help all the other yummy ingredients do their thing! Olive oil is a humectant and naturally draws moisture into the skin. Honey has many skin saving properties, it’s a natural antibacterial, full of antioxidants, clarifying and extremely moisturizing so it just had to be added to this mask!
When buying the ingredients I always get organic so that you know your getting the best quality and not putting any harsh chemicals on your skin!
